Lauren Taggart Camia, CAE
Senior Manager, Strategy and Governance
Lauren joined the PMA staff in December of 2021. Lauren serves as the Senior Manager, Strategy and Governance with the Feline Veterinary Medical Association (FelineVMA), National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA), and the Society for Mathematical Biology (SMB). She works with volunteers and members to advance strategic initiatives, membership programs, educational content, and improve governance policies and procedures.
Prior to joining PMA, Lauren worked for Smithbucklin, Inc. as a Membership and Operation Manager in the Healthcare and Scientific Business Unit, where she was responsible for managing an Admin team overseeing membership communications, databases, websites, various programs, financial budget & forecasts, several volunteer committees, and the annual volunteer leadership selection/nomination processes.
Lauren’s favorite part of working with associations is getting to work closely with volunteers to implement, improve, and devise new member programs and strategies that improve their overall industry.
